SCHINDLER'S LIST

I'm not really a fan of Steven Spielberg's Obra Maestro, yet this one caught my eyes and changed my genre in selecting films to be watched. As I first took a glimpse of the movie I felt very bored and sleepy, but as the scenes passed by it became more interesting to watch. Though I'm not a fan as well of Hollywood celebrities, yet seeing the serious and delicate appearance of Liam Neeson made me think that this film would be interesting to look at.

Liam Neeson portrayed the role of Oskar Schindler. He was a German industrialist who is a member of the Nazi Party (National Socialist's German Workers Party) during the Holocaust time. He was very influential to the people, but he did not abused his power to kill the Jewish people; rather he helped them and used his influential power to slave them, cared for them and save them from the hands of the racist. This person served as a good example to humankind. Don't you think people?

This part here may broke your heart too, the way it did to mine. Schindler's friends treated his workers brutally. The workers were being treated cruelly. They were even burned and killed like a useless thing. Their hard works didn't catch the attention of  the so-called friends of Schindler it seems that the people were just an invisible dust that's why they can do whatever ruthless acts they want. I can really see how racism worked that time though. On the other hand, the brutality of the friends of Schindler and the merciless experience of the Jews touched the heart of Schindler which then he decided to create a list of the names of the Jews. With the help of his accountant Itzhak Stern he come up with the list and pretended that he was going to buy for the Jews who's name were found on the list, but in fact his true reason was to save the Jews from the ruthless hands of his friends. With the use of his money the Jews were being saved and was freed by Schindler. Schindler and his list did a great part of the history.

It was a plot oriented story which amazed me a lot. Our teacher was not mistaken when she chose this film. And I didn't waste my time watching the film as well because the characters portrayed their roles very well that it came up very pleasing to look at, though its black and white. Its transitions, effects, and flow might as well be rated by 10, its very catchy and smooth to the eyes.  I would recommend you guys to watch the movie if you have leisure time. This movie will not just excite you, but it would make your heart skip a beat due to the floe of the story and the unpredictable character of Schindler. Surely, it will change your m=movie genre guys. Great Job, Steven Spielberg. (y)
